Why we
built it.
GoFindPart started with a problem every maintenance engineer knows: the line is down, the part is obscure, and finding it means an afternoon on the phone.
When an industrial line stops, the cost is measured in thousands per hour — yet sourcing the one bearing, board or valve that will get it running again still runs on a contact list, a fax-era quote process, and a lot of "let me check the warehouse and call you back."
We thought that was backwards. The stock almost always exists, somewhere in the UK; the hard part is making the right seller show up fast, with a real price and a delivery you can commit to. So we built a managed procurement platform that does exactly that: you post once, verified sellers who actually stock the part compete to fulfil it, and GoFindPart handles the contracting, payment, logistics and aftercare as the supplier of record — keeping both sides anonymous end to end.
That is the whole company. No marketplace games, no pay-to-list, no haggling. Just the fastest honest route from "we need this part" to "it's on the way." The mechanics are laid out, step by step, on the how-it-works page.

The price you see is the price you pay. One all-inclusive price per quote, delivery and VAT itemised upfront, no mystery line items on the invoice. If we can't show the full cost, we don't show any of it.

Sellers pay £0 — not to list, not to subscribe, not to payout. They receive 100% of their quoted price plus a tier bonus. We earn by being the supplier of record on every buyer order — handling procurement, payments, returns and aftercare — never by taking a cut of the seller's quote.
