Your Priority Score is a weighted blend of six operational measurements, recalculated hourly. There’s no subjective judgement, no admin scoring, no “vibe rating”. The formula is open — the weights below are canonical, fixed in code.

Cross the band threshold (50, 75, 90), and your tier updates on the next score recalculation. Drop a band, and you wait a 7-day grace period before demotion (hysteresis) so a single bad week doesn’t tank you.

NEW SELLER → STANDARD → PRIORITY are automatic the moment your score crosses the threshold. ELITE requires admin confirmation on top of the score. Hysteresis prevents whipsaw demotion. Here’s the full lifecycle in three cards.

Before you chase the score.

01 Is the bonus the only benefit of climbing tiers?
No — the bonus is one of four. Higher tiers also get a shorter payment hold (48 h vs up to 216 h at LIMITED), earlier notification wave (Wave 1 = first 10 sellers, immediate), and a higher daily alert cap (60 / day at ELITE vs 10 / day at LIMITED). The four levers move together when your Priority Score crosses a band.
02 Who pays the seller bonus?
GoFindPart does. Under the merchant-of-record model GFP buys the part from you at your quoted price plus the tier bonus (so it lands in your payout) and resells the part to the buyer at an all-inclusive retail price. The ~9% gross margin between those two numbers is GFP’s — bonuses are funded out of it. Nothing is ever deducted from your quoted price.
03 Is the gross margin calculated on the whole order including delivery?
No — only the part price. Delivery is platform-calculated (a per-distance formula across 5 speed tiers, plus an admin markup capped at £50) and sits on the buyer’s invoice separately. The 13% gross margin applies only to the quoted amount. Your tier bonus is also calculated on the part price only, never delivery.
04 How fast does my tier change after my score moves?
The score recalculation job runs hourly. NEW SELLER → STANDARD → PRIORITY transitions happen automatically the next time the job runs after you cross a threshold. ELITE is the only tier that requires admin confirmation on top of hitting the score. Demotions use a 7-day grace window (hysteresis) so one bad week doesn’t tank you — except PAUSED (0–24), which is instant as a safety override.
05 Why does NEW SELLER have two different wave assignments?
Urgency-sensitive routing. NEW SELLER receives MEDIUM and HIGH urgency requests in Wave 2 (alongside STANDARD), but CRITICAL requests go to Wave 3 — so SLA-critical line-down orders route to proven sellers first. Once you graduate to STANDARD (5+ deliveries, 14+ days, 60+ account health, 50+ Priority Score), CRITICAL routes to Wave 2 like every other request.
06 Can I lose ELITE for a performance dip?
Yes, via two distinct routes. Admin revocation clears your ELITE confirmation and triggers a 30-day cooldown before you can be re-confirmed. Hysteresis demotion (score sustained below 88 for 7 consecutive days) also clears ELITE but carries no cooldown — admin can re-confirm immediately when your score returns to 90+ and the other criteria are met. Score returning to 90+ on its own never auto-restores ELITE.
07 What’s the daily notification cap for?
Two reasons. First, it stops alert fatigue at lower tiers — LIMITED sellers see 10 / day so the inbox is manageable while you rebuild score. Second, it concentrates volume on top performers: ELITE sees 60 / day, which keeps the platform’s best inventory at the front of every buyer’s queue. Caps reset at 00:00 BST.
08 When is the bonus paid out?
In the same Stripe Connect payout as the order itself. The payout fires once the payment hold elapses — 48 h for ELITE/PRIORITY, 72 h STANDARD, 120 h NEW SELLER, 216 h LIMITED — counted from buyer acceptance (manual) or auto-accept (2 h after delivery confirmation if the buyer doesn’t act). Bonuses are itemised on the seller receipt.
