GoFindPart is the merchant of record — we buy from you at your quoted price (plus your tier bonus) and resell to the buyer; nothing is deducted from your payout. You receive 100% of your quoted price plus your tier bonus; see the worked example above for exactly what you receive on a £100 quote.
02 Who qualifies to supply?
UK-registered businesses with active VAT registration, public liability insurance, and two contactable trade references. Distributors, manufacturers, independent trade counters, and specialist rebuilders are all welcome. We do not accept resellers without physical stock.
03 How many requests will I see?
Depends on your categories and coverage radius. Priority and Elite sellers receive Wave 1 notifications; Standard and new sellers are on Wave 2. You can pause matching at any time.
04 When exactly do I get paid?
Stripe Connect releases funds after a tier-dependent hold from delivery confirmation: 48 hours for Priority and Elite sellers, 72 hours for Standard, 120 hours for new sellers still onboarding. Delivery confirmation means the buyer accepts the delivery, or auto-accepts 2 hours after the courier confirms drop-off.
05 What happens if a buyer disputes the part?
Disputes are routed to GFP ops — not directly to you. Buyers have 48 hours from delivery to file. GFP ops reviews the signed audit trail (quote, photos, POD) and resolves within its target SLA. If the part matches the quote, the buyer is not refunded.
06 Do I ever talk to the buyer?
No. GFP sits between both sides. You see the part, quantity, delivery postcode, and when it needs to be ready. They see your price, lead-time, and rating. Neither side sees the other’s name, address, or contact details. No haggling, no "can you drop 5%", no invoicing terms to negotiate.
07 Can I still sell through my usual channels?
Absolutely. GFP is non-exclusive. Most sellers use us alongside their existing distributor and trade counter business. There’s no contract, no minimums, and you can pause or leave at any time.
08 How do I move up a tier?
You start as a New Seller. Graduate to Standard after 5 completed deliveries, 14 days account age, priority score ≥50, and account health ≥60. Standard → Priority at score 75. Priority → Elite requires score ≥90 plus admin confirmation: ≥20 completed deliveries, ≥4.7 buyer rating, no penalties in 60 days.
