Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the GoFindPart platform. By creating an account or using any features of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the GoFindPart marketplace ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GoFindPart Ltd ("GoFindPart", "we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time with notice provided via the Platform or email.
2. Account Registration
- You must register for an account to use the core features of the Platform.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
- Supplier accounts are subject to company verification against Companies House records.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must notify us immediately at support@gofindpart.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts on behalf of your business.
3. Platform Services
GoFindPart operates a reverse-auction B2B marketplace for industrial parts, enabling buyers to post part requests and suppliers to submit competitive offers.
Part requests are visible to verified suppliers matching the category and location. Suppliers receive tiered notifications based on their priority score.
GoFindPart acts as an intermediary only. We do not supply, warehouse, or take title to goods transacted on the Platform.
4. Buyer Obligations
- Provide accurate and complete part descriptions in all requests, including part numbers where known.
- Respond to accepted offers within a reasonable time to initiate delivery or pickup.
- Confirm delivery accurately. False confirmations that trigger escrow release are a breach of these Terms.
- Only raise disputes in good faith. Frivolous or bad-faith disputes may result in account suspension.
- Pay all applicable platform fees at checkout as clearly displayed before confirming an offer.
5. Seller Obligations
- Only submit offers for parts you have in stock or can reliably source within your stated lead time.
- Accurately describe the condition of parts: new, OEM, surplus, or refurbished.
- Not accepted: counterfeit parts, items without CE or UKCA marking where required, or parts from unknown sources.
- Fulfil accepted orders promptly and use the platform's delivery or pickup flow for confirmation.
- Maintain your seller profile information, including company registration details, accurately.
6. Transactions & Payments
All transactions are processed through Stripe. GoFindPart does not store payment card data.
When a buyer accepts an offer, payment is captured and held in escrow. Funds are released to the seller after delivery confirmation or automatic acceptance (2 hours after confirmed delivery with no buyer action).
Platform fees are displayed to buyers at checkout and deducted from seller payouts. The current fee structure is available on our Pricing & Fees page.
GoFindPart may update its fee structure with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
7. Intellectual Property
GoFindPart and its content, features, and functionality are owned by GoFindPart Ltd and are protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our Platform without express written permission.
By submitting content (descriptions, images, reviews) to the Platform, you grant GoFindPart a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Platform.
8. Prohibited Activities
- Listing counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited goods
- Manipulating reviews, ratings, or priority scores
- Attempting to transact with buyers or sellers outside the Platform to avoid fees
- Using automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform
- Impersonating another user, company, or GoFindPart employee
- Violating any applicable UK or local law or regulation
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or GoFindPart staff
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoFindPart shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
GoFindPart acts as a marketplace intermediary only. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the accuracy of descriptions, or the ability of sellers to sell or buyers to pay.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to GoFindPart in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@gofindpart.com or through the account settings page.
GoFindPart reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or the Platform.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Transaction records are retained as required by law.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
