Seller scores are recalculated automatically on a regular schedule. The algorithm considers response speed, response rate, delivery reliability, offer acceptance rate, buyer ratings, and overall account health. Consistent good performance steadily increases your score and tier.
Not all suppliers are equal. Some respond in minutes, ship same-day, and consistently deliver the right part. Others take hours to respond, miss delivery windows, and occasionally send the wrong specification. GoFindPart's seller tier system quantifies this difference and rewards reliability.
The system uses six tiers, from Premier at the top to Paused at the bottom. Your tier determines when you receive notifications about new requests, how many daily notifications you get, and how quickly held funds are released after delivery. Understanding the tier system helps both buyers and sellers make better decisions.
The Six Tiers
Premier — The top tier, reserved for suppliers who consistently demonstrate exceptional performance. Premier sellers receive first-wave notifications for all relevant requests, get the highest daily notification cap, and benefit from the fastest payment release times. This tier requires admin confirmation after achieving the qualifying score, ensuring quality is maintained.
Preferred — High-performing sellers who have proven their reliability over multiple transactions. Preferred sellers receive early-wave notifications and generous daily caps. They are the backbone of the platform, handling the majority of fulfilled requests.
Standard — Established sellers with a solid track record. This is the tier most active sellers operate at. Standard sellers receive notifications in the second wave and have moderate daily caps. Consistent performance at this level leads to promotion to Preferred.
New Seller — Every seller starts here. The New Seller tier provides enough notifications to build an initial track record while the system evaluates performance. New sellers are expected to demonstrate responsiveness and reliability to advance.
Limited — Sellers whose performance has dropped below acceptable thresholds. The Limited tier reduces notification volume and delays wave placement. This tier serves as a warning: improve performance metrics or risk further restriction.
Paused — Sellers who have been temporarily suspended from receiving new notifications. This can result from repeated poor performance, unresolved disputes, or policy violations. Paused sellers must address the underlying issues before reactivation.
Note
What Drives Your Seller Score
Your priority score is a composite of several performance metrics, each weighted to reflect what matters most to buyers:
Response speed: How quickly you submit offers after receiving a notification. This is the single most heavily weighted factor in the score. For CRITICAL requests, response within 15 minutes is expected from top-tier sellers.
Response rate: The share of relevant requests you respond to at all. Ignoring notifications in your registered categories drags your score down — keep your categories aligned to what you actually stock.
Delivery reliability: Do you deliver on time and with the correct part? Missed delivery windows and incorrect shipments heavily impact your score.
Acceptance rate: The percentage of your offers that buyers accept. This reflects pricing competitiveness and the quality of your offers.
Buyer ratings and account health: The ratings buyers leave after completed transactions, plus your verification status and penalty-free record. Disputes and policy issues hurt you here, so accurate descriptions and clean handovers matter.
Success
Tip for sellers: Focus on response speed first. It is the easiest metric to improve immediately and has a significant impact on your priority score. Enable mobile notifications so you never miss a request in your categories.
How Tiers Affect Payment Release
Higher-tier sellers benefit from faster payment release after delivery confirmation. Premier and Preferred sellers are paid as soon as the buyer's 48-hour confirmation window closes, with no additional hold. Standard sellers wait one extra day, and newer or restricted tiers wait longer while they build a track record. This rewards reliability and improves cash flow for the best-performing suppliers.
This creates a virtuous cycle: better performance leads to a higher tier, which leads to faster payment, which enables the seller to reinvest in stock and service quality, which leads to even better performance.
